- Introduction
This manual has been prepared in terms of Section 51 of PAIA and to address the requirements of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

To outline how individuals may request access to records held by A4ID (Advocacy for Inclusive Development) in a lawful, structured manner.

4. Categories of Records Available
Records that may be requested include:| Category | Example |

You may be required to pay a prescribed fee as outlined by the Information Regulator.
- Grounds for Refusal
Access may be refused under PAIA if it:
- Violates third-party privacy
- Includes confidential company information
- May prejudice security or commercial interests
- Remedies Available
If your request is refused, you may:
- Appeal internally (not required for private bodies)
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator
- Approach a court of law
