Indemnity
Indemnity A4ID (Advocacy for Inclusive Development), including its directors, employees, volunteers, representatives, partners, affiliates, contractors, and event organisers, will take reasonable care in the handling, storage, display, and management of all artworks submitted for the Visions of Inclusion Art Exhibition. However, participation in the exhibition is entirely at the artist’s own risk. By entering the exhibition, the artist acknowledges and accepts that A4ID shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, damage, deterioration, or destruction of artworks or any personal property arising before, during, or after the exhibition, including during transportation, installation, display, storage, handling, or collection, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
The artist accepts full responsibility for the delivery and collection of their artwork and for ensuring that all submitted works are suitable for exhibition. Artists are encouraged to arrange their own insurance should they wish to insure their artworks against theft, accidental damage, fire, natural disasters, or any other unforeseen circumstances.
The artist further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless A4ID, its directors, employees, volunteers, representatives, partners, and affiliates against any claims, demands, damages, liabilities, costs, or legal expenses arising from their participation in the exhibition or resulting from any injury, damage, or loss caused by the artist, their artwork, or any third party connected to their participation. By signing the exhibition application form, the artist confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted the terms of this indemnity and agree to participate in the Visions of Inclusion Art Exhibition under these conditions.
